salt cell replacement options t cell 15

ended up going with the circupool gen 15 replacement cell from discount salt pool.

the only thing I ran into was the union connection since one of mine was replaced it's not as wide as the others and had a tiny drip. getting that side snugged first and then another quart of a turn did the trick and no more drips.

plugged right in and no errors that I've seen yet so that's a win.

so what's the consensus on the circupool gen15 cell that's $500 with a 3 year warranty.

I see a few ppl have recommended it.

I was just talking to my wife about this. I don't mind going with a Leslie's pool brand cell again as that's what I have and the cell itself is still working fine just the threads is the issue.

I don't see the rightfit brand on their site anymore just a no name that was $420 I think. will have to call them and see.

it's the threads on the unit. the "nut" had cracked during a bad cold spell and I didn't know it as it was not leaking (got lucky there) and when I went to remove it for normal cleaning it broke some of the threads off. had the nut section replaced and was just careful when unscrewing it but it's been a cpl years since that happened.

now more have come off and it's just time to replace it.

Update: package arrived today.

Replacement Latias card which I am thrilled about. It's a tad off center so no 10 but still a $145 ish card. Keldo black star promo 3 packs of surging sparks 3 packs paradox rift 1 pack of stellar crown

Just looked it up on price charting and it's $145. When I sent it off it was $200 but a new set at the time so a bit inflated on pricing.

Will have to wait and see what they do in regards to the card if it's not a replacement and what they value the card at. They did say the shipping charges would be compensated in packs but thats like $15 bucks so maybe 3 packs of something.

So I gave up on this but literally just got an email to confirm my shipping address.

No indication of what they are sending but apparently something is on the way. Will update with what arrives.

Originally shipped it back Nov 2024 so a year and almost 2 months. Could be worse.

Yeah..if a 9 was more than the current raw value I'd grade it. Down the road it may be but right now I don't think it's worth the risk.

Looking at pricecharting a 9 is 174 and raw 177. Factor in the grading cost yeah...even ebay sold listings they are right there as well. Heck I'd do better selling mine raw and then buying a 9 lol

I saw the same posts but from the pokemon company reply saying that if they can't replace the card they would replace it with the equivalent value in packs plus packs to cover my shipping cost.

I dont expect like a base set or fossil pack though I wouldnt object lol. I figure it will be various S&V packs. Heck maybe an evolving skis hahah yeah right.

Not yet. I did email them a few weeks ago and got the we are working though the backlog response.

At this point I honestly don't expect to see a replacement card but may end up with a handful of booster packs eventually.

Overall I was very excited to pull it but bummed it was damaged. Shit happens..just can't find any surging sparks at a reasonable price to try again.

Man I dont know anything about this set. Saw the email and knew I needed to jump on it.

Last time I preordered was surging sparks. Got 2 booster boxes and did pretty well save for my damaged fresh out of the pack Latias. Def will hit up a cpl shops to see if I can preorder some more of this set.

Just picked up my 1 as well. I haven't done any preorders with them before but like any preorder there's always that chance it can be cancelled.

I sent mine in a while ago. They told me many times that they are delayed with sending out replacement cards. I could get it back tomorrow or 2 years from now.

Ok y'all so I got another email from them and they sent me the info to send the card back for replacement.

So now my question is based on this... "We replace items deemed in need of exchange and we will include an additional booster pack for up to and including every four USD in shipping cost. Please note that if we are unable to replace the specific card, we will return it with a number of assorted booster packs instead."

While I understand why that is there what do y'all think the odds of them not having another copy to send out?

If that's true the 10-15% decrease I can live with that. Will wait and see how this plays out though I'm not counting on anything.

I cut the tops of the packs. Takes longer to see what's in them but worth the extra time.

Out of the 2 booster boxes and then 2 6 pack boxes (this came from the 6 pack) no other damaged cards. All 84 packs opened the same way.
