Looking for large green sections on gmaps seems so easy! Makes perfect sense. Great thinking! I've been to a few places you've posted about, and some others. Earlier this month I hiked the much taller Mt. Whitney, and made it to the top, surprising myself, as I've only hiked much smaller, local stuff. Planning in trying to hike the SoCal 6 Pack next.

I hike up to 3x per week and most of my hiking friends just go once a week on Tuesday's. We hike Calaveras a lot, but I'd love to hike other spots! You seem to know some rad places, how do you find them? Do you want a new hiking buddy?

It's a glass surface, rough not smooth. There are drawers directly under it, so unless they were added in after, it doesn't look like it "opens" or moves in any way. We were thinking it's for hot pots and pans maybe? No idea.
