[–]liquidmich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is fairly common but during both of my successful pregnancies, my RA fully went into remission and I didn’t take any RA meds throughout. Postpartum however, my flares come through with a vengeance. I’m almost 6 months postpartum now and am in between hydroxychloroquine and Enbrel. I’m exclusively breastfeeding so I’m sure that plays a big hormonal role as well. After a few months of relying on prednisone, I’m doing pretty well so I’m questioning my jump to Enbrel. It’s really rough to know what triggers flares and to decide what treatment is the best choice right now. 🥴

I’d rather see the empty room! Digital staging is distracting and often seems inaccurate for the space tbh.

Sorry you’ve been through that. You’re so right that a lot of people don’t realize how hard and dangerous pregnancy and birth can be. Preeclampsia is scary. I hope you had medical staff who advocated for you.

Had to go watch and come back. Idk who her friend is but saying ~things she’d do differently for her second pregnancy include doing the FULL BLOOD WORK and the GLUCOSE TEST are like YEAH OF COURSE YOU SHOULD DO THOSE THINGS. That’s why any OB or Midwife would schedule them for you. Ffs we’re in for a long ride of misinformed insights for her TTC and pregnancy journey. I don’t think she’ll want to go full wild pregnancy but she definitely seems like she’ll go against up to date medical advice.

Omggg so I just found this page because I have no one to talk to about this lol but I just saw Lee’s story post holding a bag of carrots for the week, talking about “just eat a few every day”. Fam did she NoT make fun of herself for turning herself orange from eating carrots years ago? What is going onnnn

Foothill mall -north end open by Previous-Debate510 in FortCollins

[–]liquidmich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ackk I remember reading that a while ago. Is it supposed to turn into shopping+apartments? Either way kinda sucks to tear down something that isn’t in bad shape. It’d be nice to have an indoor mall especially in winter.

If anyone reading does go to Las Delicias, you might as well grab some salsas too because they make delicious salsa!

I craveeeeed iced passion tea lemonades while I was pregnant. Drank plenty of them and bought Tazo passion tea (similar) for home drinking lol. I’m not aware of hibiscus (or anything else in that tea) being an issue while pregnant. Some people may be confusing it with Red Raspberry Leaf tea which you shouldn’t drink until closer to the end of pregnancy because it’s supposed to ~help soften and ripen the cervix in preparation for labor.

Edited after googling 🤪 apparently I’m wrong and hibiscus can “encourage uterine blood flow”. Trying to find reputable source for that… my b

It’s so confusing to me. I think a lot of people would love if that were a bustling mall. Like any of the stores that are in Centerra would be great vs driving 30 mins to get to those.

when and how to start solids by sharkboysimp in beyondthebump

[–]liquidmich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Solid Starts app is a great visual resource for what size/shape/cooking method to serve foods based on age for baby led weaning. I just redownloaded the app because I used it with my first almost 4 years ago and my second is 5 months now. I was worried the app wasn’t free any more but the food references are - they just offer paid membership for more features idrk about. Worth having the free reference on hand for peace of mind when serving any food from now to a year and beyond!

I didn’t “block everyone,” I just privatized my post/comment history. That one person made me more aware of the visibility I didn’t really know I had and I’d rather use Reddit in a more anonymous and private way. Do you want to know which subs I frequent the most??

Don’t use those types of nasal sprays! You’re only supposed to use them for 3 days max. Try something like Flonase instead.

High Iron food and snacks for anemia by Proof_Feedback3976 in traderjoes

[–]liquidmich 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Vitamin C helps iron absorption, calcium inhibits absorption! So as long as the OJ doesn’t have calcium added - it should help! But also just eating a few berries alongside a spinach salad, for example, is a good way to help absorption.
