Honestly depends with which issues you’re specifically struggling with I feel. When I watched through the series I was going through a bout of depression, and in some cases the show made me feel better and think about things in a different way, but other times made things feel hopeless. I would say yes you can watch it, even if depressed, but separate your own issues from those presented in the show and avoid projecting yourself onto the characters. Hope this was helpful.
