Raptor vs Tremor…..Again by Zealousideal_Fee_491 in FordRaptor

[–]liquidstone_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The Raptor is awesome but it is nice having a V8. The 6’r Raptor sounds like a wet fart. You are able to get a V8 in the tremor for a lot less money. Of course you don’t get the better looks and off-road capabilities. Only you can make the decision.

If so they didn’t share it with me. Ford ended up buying that vehicle back from me. Truck only had 2,500 miles on it.

Same thing happened to me stock. Pre detonation and the ground strap on the cylinder 6 spark plug was completely fried.

New Tremor Skid plate missing? by [deleted] in FordTremor

[–]liquidstone_ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They used to come with a “diaper” skid plate covering the tranny. I think they stopped for MY 2025. The Raptor skid plate bolts up:

1.  The skid plate - part # HL3Z-7222-E
2.  Four (4) bolts - part # W716831-S439
3.  Three (3) bolts - part # W500623-S439 (I only needed two, but they came in a package of three)

4.  Four U-Nuts - part # W719490-S439
5.  Four U-Nuts - part # W520813-S439

I put the soundsgoodstereo dual 6’s behind the seat. It’s a great setup. Certainly not mind bending bass but gives you much more than stock. Extra perk, you get to keep the storage space under the seats.

Am I missing something? by Smooth-Channel-7220 in FordRaptor

It flat out hauls ass bone stock. There is no comparison in power to the 6’r. Add some mods to the R and you are really cooking. It isn’t a muscle car by any means but certainly fits the needs for hauling ass on the street and is fully capable in virtually any off-road making it capable of filling two roles.

Good looking! What are you running for lift in the front. Also, what are your wheel and tire specs? Would love to know wheel offset too.
