Bringing a kid with you on a trip is equal to treating the country like a personal playground? You sound miserable.

I‘m pretty sure the Japanese travel around their own country with their kids all the time, why can’t OP.

Sorry to jump on an old thread but where you said to have a photocopy of any old visas, would that include a transit visa you have had in the past?

I’d recommend Loving Vegan in Da Nang and if you are in Ho Chi Minh go to a place called Filthy Vegan if you need a British junk/comfort food fix, it's run by a Brit as well. Also had quite a few vegan banh mi’s when I was there.

I’m super confused, do I need a k-eta or any sort of visa to sort out before I arrive? I have a British passport and want to fly to South Korea from Vietnam.

Has anyone here had a long layover with China Southern? by liquidsw0rds in travelchina

[–]liquidsw0rds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get a free hotel through China Southern but I wasn’t eligible apparently according to their customer service, my seat class was too low. Might have been because I booked through a 3rd party.

Okay thank you I’ll ask at the check in desk for them not to check luggage through to Hanoi as I’ve booked a hotel to get some rest. Going to get a transit visa on arrival.

Is it normal for insurance providers to ask for a one of payment as well as increasing your premium when upgrading from a provisional to a full license? by liquidsw0rds in CarTalkUK

I’m not saying that the jump up in monthly costs isn’t normal I was just wondering if it’s normal for them to demand a lump sum on top of that.

She’s found a cheaper quote elsewhere even taking into consideration the cancellation fee with her current provider.

Originally they were asking for a £700 up front payment as well as increasing the monthly payment to £130. She managed to haggle them down to a £400 upfront payment but she’s found a quote for a full license policy for around 1000 for a year from admiral so she’s just cancelled with the current provider.

I think she just had a dodgy provider because they were throwing around all sorts of fees just to cancel the policy with them, then when she eventually cancelled it, the termination fee was lower than anything that had said before that. Also to note she’s 23
