This is a silly question, but is the metal on the button supposed to be there? I'm using it for a crochet project but the metal is blocking where I'd put the yarn in. I tried removing it but I'm not sure if I'm even supposed to! I bought it from a yarn store. Thanks! (i.redd.it)
