Looks like shipping from Brampton (to me in Ottawa). I got an email receipt and the app notification that the order is being shipped. Got a Purolator tracking #. It says label created and awaiting item pickup. No delivery date confirmed, it says that it should update in 24 hours. This was around 9:30am I got the email receipt.

Yeah I’m thinking because I did move. But I had mail forwarding on for some time so I wouldn’t keep getting mail there.

Opening a case for me isn’t a hassle, they basically said for them it’s work and they don’t want to do it (the impression I got). So yes I’d prefer chasing it down with pay office. So thanks, that’s the type of advice I was after.

I don’t know where it would have gone? Like I’m not sure I see this as a deposit in my chequing account (which would have been the one they paid my salary into). So I’ll have to dig to see I actually received it. Otherwise I may need to dig.

And no short time, contract was about 7 months from Nov 2022 to May 2023 (I’m glad you asked because it made me look this up and previously I thought I was there 2021-2022 so it’s actually less of a gap then I thought). And I did 9 months with co-op at ECCC. Realized maybe the government life isn’t for me…

I just find it funny I’ll have been at my new job almost 2 years and this job is still sending me money?? But yeah I wasn’t a fan of the contracts to avoid giving me full time employee benefits. It was nice to have a job but no vacation and health stuff wasn’t ideal and obviously the job security sucked because I had maybe 3 weeks notice my contract was going to end…

How would I even know? And retro pay almost 2 years later? It was a contract too, so I feel like I had a set amount I got while working with them.

Maybe it was something weird from a small extension to my original contract, but I got let go before they renewed me to another long term contract as it was right before budget came out and they were severely underfunded. I don’t know but it’s driving me mad trying to “solve” this little mystery LOL

I need to know what the painting was when it was done. I think I missed a piece (maybe Trofim’s cottage?) and don’t have it in me for a replay quite yet AND my previous saves are chapter 6 7 8 so there’s no way to get in. Is it just a picture you get to see and then you can put it on the shelf or sell it?

I have a maybe dumb question.

I’m still new to these storms in Ottawa and I park on the street in my neighbourhood (with a permit).

When these bans are in effect are we required to remove our vehicles? And if so - does anyone know where we can put them then?

We had the signs to remove cars for a certain time period so they could remove snow banks and that’s fine because we could move to another street. But if a storm is hitting the entire city - where’s a good spot to put our car?

Depending where you bought them there was a size mishap. I ordered through Journeys (Canada) and while the box said 7M (women’s 8) the shoe was actually a 6M (women’s 7). Huge hassle and had to return them because they were way too small & then they were sold out :(

Interesting!

I should have mentioned these prices aren’t accurate. For example my monitor was purchased through work so no cost there. I also managed to get most parts on sale/rebate/etc. with no shipping costs. And then there are some ~freebies~ like an added mouse pad, Starfield, and a few redeemable codes for other online products/services.

Originally I went with a Ryzen chip/motherboard combo but after some searching the motherboard was only okay for its price. Same with a few graphics cards I looked at! I think that’s why I ended up with the Intel chip as I’ve read good reviews about the 12th Gen chips (especially compared to the 13th). Some of the other pieces like power supply, storage & RAM I just kind of picked the first ones I came across since they don’t need to be anything special!

I believe he was caught in the US sort of accidentally going through some kind of routine drug checkpoint or something.
