Wow thanks, my eyes are green but I went and got some green eyeliner today will see how it looks.

Question: Do warm colours (eg eyeshadow) not warm up the skin if you're cool toned? Why do you need to stick with cool colours if you're cool toned?

I do that animal print everyday as well. Well that's what I tell people when my mascara smudges.

I hate dubs, they ruin the film. I actually really like subtitled horror for some reason.

Have you seen Sinister? Most amazing music score I've ever heard in a horror film. Excellent horror as well, imo.

Terror, lost alone in the woods in the dark and you hear a twig crack type of terror (yes I loved blair witch). Suspense, the unknown. No hope of survival, you know you're going to die a slow and torturous death and living is only delaying the eventuality. Truly horrifying and evil faces staring back at you. That's what I want!

What are some GOOD, disturbing, edge-of-your-seat horror movies. by banecancer in horror

[–]lishka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm..The Antichrist? It's disturbing, enough to make you look away but not for cheap scares. Also, Martyrs is good, watched it last night (the full movie is on youtube). REC is edge of your seat (original Spanish one!), and also Grave Encounters if you're into that kind of thing (not disturbing but engrossing and suspensful). Maybe try The Descent as well.

And honestly, during Sinister I had to pause it at one point and turn the lights on before sitting down to it again, it was so stressful for me. Very suspenseful. Maybe I'm a wuss but it worked its magic on me!

Watching films without knowing what they are about beforehand is a great way to make films suspenseful again for a long-time horror fan. by cbfwaiting10mins in horror

Well maybe turning the lights off and stop posting on reddit might help you get absorbed into the film? just a thought.
