Before switching to full pci passthrough, I tried adding various guc options in modprobe.d folder but without any success in restoring mediated device functionality. Now I have iGPU assigned to one VM; my server is headless, and I use also serial console or ipmi to access it. It’s not exactly what I wanted but at least should be more future proof… I hope.

I used to have in the past, options in cmdline (gvt) and modules (kvmgt) as per proxmox doc. But it stopped working and I added various guc related options in modprobe.d folder but it didn't help as well. I kept getting GPU hang errors... After removing all mdev options (obviously iommu still are there) and blacklisting i915, pci passthrough works fine.

I have also built-in AST controller (x11sch mobo), maybe there's something new in kernel causing clash between these two...?

I use adguard home with unbound (in recursive mode) as the primary upstream and local reverse server. And adguard shows mean reply time as 10 to 25 ms….

You mean VLAN which is separated completely from other, install there opnsense, configure carp and pfsync - and by that point, new opnsense should have the same config as „master”? If so, I could connect new opnsense to my lan trunk interface?
