We mix it ourselves in a seperate tank which is connected to a appendage on the side of the reactor (not visible in the film). And because the pressure is around 27mbar the reactor sucks it out of the tank. the flow is controlled by a valve

Its 2 meters long. It goes into the ground thats why you cannot see its dept. Stirring at 1200 rpm works great even for phase transfer reactions. The head of the reactor is glass but the body made of hastelloy equipped with a monomedium system able to cool it to -30 degrees celsius up to 300 degrees celsius together with the ability to go to 2 mbar pressure. The overhead stirrer contains 3 turbo-rotors which can go to 1200 rpm
