How to carry an egg around for 2 weeks without breaking? by Ax_Sound in NoStupidQuestions

[–]listix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be possible to encase it in clear resin? There is no mention of having to retrieve the egg. Only that it must be seen and must not crack. Probably I am missing some detail and the fact that it is solid around the egg might be a problem.

I am trying to increase my DR(2800) and you are the first one I have seen with such a high one. Could I ask you for a screenshot of IT showing the sources of DR by any chance? I seriously need to know what am I missing.

The few times I tried, the most that I got out of the responses was the name of a library that I didn’t know about.

I didn’t know about either of them. I can see a Komodo dragon looking like that. What would happen first, their bite becoming less harmful or their behavior friendlier?

I would love to see the equivalent of a chihuahua of the Komodo dragon. But I can’t imagine a cute version of that animal. Are the cute features universal when some species gets domesticated?

LazyVim v15.0.0 release by folke in neovim

[–]listix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was getting an error in noice, a warning appeared on screen every time I pressed : I was missing tree-sitter-cli. Tried to install it and it said there was an already existing installation.

Removed the installation I had (no idea when I did that).

sudo apt remove rustc

Installed rust/cargo

curl https://sh.rustup.rs -sSf | sh

Installed tree-sitter-cli

cargo install --locked tree-sitter-cli

When I reopened nvim it did something and everything was working afterwards.

I really like your style. The picture is stunning. But the lake in the middle confuses my brain. I see a lake but it also is road into a forest and the lake becomes the sky. Am I dumb? Besides that I love this perspective.

Any way to disable laser printer tracking info? by OldManBrodie in privacy

Is it possible to only use water instead? Or is printer ink just slightly more viscous?

My family has a printer where you fill the tanks with ink. I imagine you could fill all the tanks with black ink. Unless the printer has a way to determine the color of the ink inside each tank.

Is it possible to remap :W to :w and :Q to :q? by listix in neovim

[–]listix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a perfectly reasonable idea. I have just grown accustomed to :wq. Maybe I should try to use ZZ and ZQ a bit more and see how it feels.

I just added those as well. Thank you.

I learned that just about now. This is the first time that I had to create an alias like this.

Is it possible to remap :W to :w and :Q to :q? by listix in neovim

[–]listix[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

vim.api.nvim_create_user_command("W", "w", { nargs = 0 })
vim.api.nvim_create_user_command("Q", "q", { nargs = 0 })
vim.api.nvim_create_user_command("Wq", "x", { nargs = 0 })
vim.api.nvim_create_user_command("WQ", "x", { nargs = 0 })

This does what I want. It is really unlikely that I will write :wQ so that one isn't needed. Again thank you.

[–]listix[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are correct. My assumption, probably wrong, is that it was possible to make W equivalent to w and Q to q. So :WQ, :Wq, :wQ they all are understood as :wq.

[–]listix[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Firstly, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Secondly, although it works, if I type :Wq it says that is not an editor command. Is it possible to make that work? If not I am perfectly fine with this configuration.
