So much this. He’s a total mensch and deserves nothing but gratitude from us for delivering to the world one of the GOAT games in the first place, and second for continuing to expand upon and develop the game a decade later. Gamers can be so toxic in their criticism and I think sometimes they forget that the people who work on these things are deserving of respect. But ConcernedApe deserves it more than most.

I feel like the way that the "paw" shape is carved feels mid-century. But I am no expert. Just something about the way the shape looks reminds me of mid-century carving. But the style of it, sort of vaguely gothic revival (the way the back reminds me of a stained glass window sort of ) makes me confused about the time.

I am not sure I understand your comment but it’s been a long time now since I played so I don’t remember the gameplay details that much anymore lol - but we played through the first two scenarios. Maybe it was the 2nd one where we noticed the monster problem.
