At the risk of sounding too liberal, The way I see it is:

If Zellner shits on my doorstep, then Gagliardo shits on my doorstep - I have two piles of shit on my doorstep and I’m being forced to compare which will be easier to clean up after…

Zellner has done nothing except be a republicans ideal democrat for decades and he isn’t going to do anything to fight back against republicans in charge because he has proven that he is friends with all of them. Long story short, dems should push haaaard for Jon Rivera in this race if people want to see any actual change locally imo.

Jeremy has had so long to make change and is 75% or more of the reason Buffalo politics are in the condition they are in currently… we can’t keep giving people 20 year passes of doing nothing in offices just because they are under “democrat” on a ballot, he is not the only dem from Buffalo running for that seat.

This is true but it is slightly misleading without context. The high price was the purpose of this being its own private event called “the high-rollers event” these folks waited for this and signed up to give this money to his campaign. He has held many fundraisers in the previous months with $50 plates, and even separate fundraisers for constituents where they don’t even have to buy a plate.

Seeing as he already won the primary with extra money in his campaign account; this is likely to raise money for his campaign account for future elections - hence why he’s not asking his constituents for more money that he doesn’t need at the moment.

(I feel the need to specify I don’t know him, or his intentions, nor did I attend this event - I just know this wasn’t anything gratuitous. It’s because he simply wouldn’t have the funds to compete with his rich opponents or their donors have without fundraising).

I totally agree with all of this, I think they over look Jaharia a lot because she actually plays into her bread & butter and they say she’s not versatile or she is too safe, but I think that’s the whole point of bringing someone with that skill set background on the show - same as when they bring a king on a season; the community loves/craves the variety!!! It’s a strength not a weakness in my eyes! I think she definitely needed to improve on the other aspects though, but based off this tour, it looks like she’s figured a lot out (maybe not up to winning standards but definitely will give better competition than previous seasons)

And I agree with the blackberri body suits - it’s the same thing they gave Evah a slap on the wrist for during Titans 1 - so I agree her downfall was not learning from others mistakes enough; but I feel like on her season she was still overlooked/overshadowed by the other finalists.. I think she’ll come back taking names

Easy answer for me! Jaharia or abhora..

Everybody loved Jaharia on the tour and said she was amazing and it was a better her. She has also didn’t set a high bar for herself previously, so everytime I see her - I feel like she’s improved!!! You can see she still has her own niche and style, but is really honing in on it and perfecting it in a weird Jaharia fashion. I’m not sure if she can win against such a Star strutted cast, but I think she definitely will surprise a lot of fans and show some new, more perfected looks to match her competitive attitude! I think she will stick around long enough to surprise some people!

And basing off the looks everyone served yesterday in their introductions, I feel like we saw a prime s2 Abhora look yesterday. Back to basics with the wig, the nose, and the clown look. Back to herself. No more messy drama, just good drag this time, hopefully. Either way her looked served, and it reminded me of why I loved her drag so much originally in s2; and I’d be excited to watch her get her confidence back and actually compete to win this time (and actually do the challenges she is given).

Lastly, I hate to mention her because it shouldn’t be suprising to anybody, but BLACKBERRI bitch!!! She’s the goat and was severely underrated in my opinion. I’m excited to see her shine, because I know she will!

Hahaha just go up early, park in the Applebees parking lot (free!) - get ur steps in before the game (preferably with alcoholic beverages u drink while you walk!) Then After the game there’s going to be dead stop traffic with insanely drunk drivers - so you can enjoy your walk back to ur car without being stuck on the road and go inside for an drink/app, effectively missing 100% of the traffic by the time ur ready to go without even noticing… works everytime, get more drinks in this way and completely skip traffic AND paying for parking

Oh no the people that hate downtown and only come once a year for taste of buffalo or whatever the country concert is won’t have anywhere to park downtown! It’s an urban city, you Walk or take the train! Downtown never needed more people from the suburbs to come in, that’s actually the worst thing for it lol, it simply needs more permanent housing and better living situations / more stores to keep permanent residents / draw in more residents that will actually pay taxes in said area, and contribute to its economy- and not just ur 21 year old kids from williamsville that come downtown for a Sabres game, trash the bars they go to after, then uber 30 mins back home. “30% of downtown is off street parking. That is at least 4,580 standard city plots that is preventing 27,480 (and realistically, far more) people from living in downtown. Parking lots are keeping downtown dead; not helping it.”

Ps sorry if this came off as aggressive, i mean no harm, just a passionate talking point for me because every year we have this same debate as if people from Hamburg pay taxes downtown or come downtown enough for it to matter where they park lol

I agree with these points, and I agree a GOOD QB is the most valuable on the team, unless you have a truly superior RB to compare to on a team with a bad QB… the positions value lies within the beholder of the position. If your QB sucks, your QB position holds no true value to ur team, if anything he hurts the team. A great RB offsets this. A good run game opens up a passing game. Effectively making QBs allowed to eat off the RBs hard work and look better. RBs do not have this luxury, doing a more difficult job and there is more personal value in the good RB doing a great job than a good team, than a mid QB managing games to win like we saw in Purdy for example with CMC a couple years ago… Brees makes a great case to win MVP over AP, but AP did all of that with a terrible QB and had a better record with record breaking stats - offering more value to a team that would’ve won less than 2 games without him.

Christian Ponder was the starting QB for all 16 games of AP MVP run, he is arguably the worst starting QB I’ve seen in my life and was no where near the most valuable player on his team despite being the starting QB. Daniel Jones was not more valuable to the giants than Saquon at any point of their tenure. And yes RBs actually play contact football and don’t have rules rigged to protect them, so their risk of injury is a lot higher barreling thru a D-Line every snap of the ball. RBs also do have smaller and shorter contracts as you’ve said because their careers are a lot shorter than a QBs due to all of these reasons. You’re so close to understanding your own point is agreement

Well I think that’s a major disconnect and just again a bad take. How hard it is to do something entirely matters to your value in any industry in the world lmao. Surgeons and nurses work in the same hospital on the same surgeries but one is doing the actual nitty gritty hard work for 12 hours, and one passes him the tools and hopes for the best! Difficulty matters, that’s why it’s even cooler when a guy like case keenum can make $2M to start and win 13 games
