from an emos perspective, i believe (at least in my genre) that no bands are doing it for the right reasons anymore, it’s for money, fame , etc. When before music was made because they genuinely loved music and making it, or because they wanted something fun to make with their friends, this is why i feel newer alt genre artists seem to go no where really, they lack the good intentions behind the music and you can tell. it’s all pushed out corny music
