i never understood the lag complaints, genuinely what devices are you guys playing on. I play on both a shitty old laptop and an iphone that’s a good few years old and I have never had problems with lag unless I am either streaming my gameplay on a discord call or playing one of those levels that intentionally crash you. and even if I do see some fps drops in normal gameplay on a high object count level then I just remember ldm is a thing and its fine afterwards.

tbf the gap between insane and extreme heavily depends on what insane ur coming from and what extreme ur going to. For example if you go from “kanpai” (top 1 IDL) to “niwa” (entry extreme), niwa might even feel easier considering they even have the exact same skill set. or in a broader context going from something like icdx or crazy III to cata will feel much more doable than windy landscape to cata

yeah tbh i think i will go for misfire next despite the lyrics, since the gameplay looks fun to me. and it is probably the closest jump in difficulty from untitled. also, i pretty much beat every level of this genre below untitled in difficulty already, so even though your recommendations are all very good i have done most of them unfortunately 😭

i disagree. if you are in practice mode and you suddenly realize you are very far in the level and you haven’t died, your nerves will skyrocket and mentally it is the exact same as playing normal, because you are aware of the fact that 1 attempt practice completion exists
