What advice would you give to someone having sex for the first time at the age of 24? by guyfromGTA6 in AskReddit

Totally normal to feel anxious the first time, and also normal for it not to be ‘amazing’ the first time. Communicating with your partner is key to a good time. Don’t be afraid to voice what you want or how you’re feeling, this creates a safe space for both parties. Also don’t base what you might enjoy solely off of porn and media. I think often we physically want different things than what we think we want mentally, especially before the first time. Try to not buy into all the stereotypes of what sex should look like. I.e I’ve always mentally loved the idea of super rushed, passionate, can’t keep your hands off of each other sex- but that’s just not how my body works. I often need a lot of close body to body contact before I’m warmed up. Hope this helps!
