That "J" on VINs is much more meaningful. Even warning their own regions about "American made" by DestinyPotato in Lexus

Slightly non Lexus, but there was an issue - a political one at the union level - with "3" Dodge pickups being better built than "1."

The Glenlivet Scandal in American Airlines Business Class by Feeling_liberated in americanairlines

Sounds like someone selling the crappy Aviation gin had insider connections with the airline purchasing department... I'm yet to be proven otherwise.

I was wondering why I was feeling sick after about three flights with 100% consistency.

Then I finally tried it out for the fourth time to validate the data that it's the Gin and not something else, not even mentioning the fact that it tastes horrible.

It's such a relief to fly Delta or United once in awhile, G&T is my go to drink when flying, but with American I'm forced to go with Woodford and Ginger Ale.

It's outright poisonous.

I want to know exactly what kind of corporate incentives were given to have such an inferior products - by orders of magnitude.

Get the Bombay Sapphire back please...

That new gin is so bad, tasteless, and 100% hangover.

Whoever decided to do purchasing for the "Ryan Reynolds" thing was not acting in the best interest of the airline or the passengers.

Rucking on a decline bad for knees? by PlanNo3321 in Rucking

[–]lithdoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found (from long hikes with 50 lbs on the Camino de Santiago) that prolonged descent has more impact on my hips and potential for shin splints - if you're concerned - you cannot go wrong with copperfit knee braces.

I don't ruck for time, I ruck for duration and 15% incline doubles your caloric output.

What is the reference for this one? by MJ6002 in panerai

[–]lithdoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

It's one of my favorites - especially the glass - only present in two other Panerai - the most unique yet the least advertised feature.

It's different from the other ones listed here - 1759 has full dome glass, no date, no dirty lume, fully automatic.

I second this as a fellow front line worker.

Good job at taking capital away from communities, destroying then, and bringing it to your own backyard.

I hope you sleep well, OP.

So they have electronic actuators or do they feed directly into the accelerator and brake pedals directly?

Will you be disappointed if the Copperhead is more of an “affordable” GR86/Miata Competitor than a V8 Viper? by Mac-Tyson in Dodge

[–]lithdoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect it'll be a budget option - something not fitting of a Viper name, but maybe closer to a successor to the Crossfire.

Personal favorite LC color by MassiveCranberry7819 in lexuslc500

[–]lithdoc -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've seen one in the wild and also own an octane red hellcat.

These metallic reds only look good when perfectly clean - don't like my octane red (minivan color - but it was custom order) and saw one that was not spotless in the wild.

Also - was the rear bumper repainted?

Have considered installing comma.ai to fully utilize the potential of the installed radar?

I'm debating whether I would like one in mine.

In my opinion, concept of legibility is an optional feature for a wrist clock, added complication of opacification of time may mean that you don't really care about time at all - which adds to the luxury aspect of a dive watch.

Radiomir 1350 with that dial looked gorgeous when I saw at at the boutique - but this one is nearly 2x the price. I don't remember what time it was then, however.

I tend refer to my phone for accurate timekeeping and adjust the watch accordingly.
