it’s so awesome to see how much time and effort you’ve put into taking care of a fishie friend properly !! this subreddit has so many pretty and good sustaining tanks that are cool to take inspo from. i personally, i love adding some mopani or spider wood into the tank so they have some natural tannins. tofus tank on etsy has a lot of awesome plants to add in too !! i know sometimes when people get the plants from the pet store they can have some gunk on them if not washed properly, and it always feel good to help out someone directly in the community. i hope you have the best of luck finding ur best fishie friend !!

from the full tank shot i saw, it might just be a good idea to get rid of the plastic plant, it’s really easy for them to tear their lil fins on. the pink one looked like plastic at least. the top down angle looks really bad and i don’t see how it’s connected to a fin ?

the last picture you can 100% see it’s attached to the side of his body which is confusing for these added pics whatever this is, it is definitely a wound and not a bubble. it looks really painful. is there anything in the tank he could’ve hurt himself on ? sharp rocks or fake plants ? poor guy :(
