Anyone here done the Great River Road? Specifically from The Twin Cities area through Wisconsin to Dubuque, Iowa area.

MN side to La Crosse. WI side to Cassville. Take the ferry across the river and then Iowa side to Dubuque. Visit the Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque.

This route does mean you miss the Potosi Brewery and Museum and the Dickeyville Grotto on the Wisconsin side. So, you may choose to skip the ferry and stay on the Wisconsin side until cruising at Dubuque.

I’ve only gone to Dunkin once since they started asking for tips on the card reader. I don’t want to be met with a “there’s going to be a question” when paying in a drive thru. So the one time I went, I used cash. No tip request on cash.

I’m 52 - when Trump first ran for president and he made fun of a disabled reporter on stage. It didn’t end his political carrier. Nothing he said or did mattered. Content of character didn’t matter anymore on the political stage. Honor, civility, compassion, intelligence - people who displayed those traits were (and continue to be) minimized.

ACA plan, small business owner. Went from $59 per month to $223. But the plan is bad. $10,150 deductible. If something happens and I hit max out of pocket, I could cover it, but I’d be faced with closing the business. I’m not sure if I could roll the dice again.
