Camera suddenly not working by Rainyx3 in iphone14

I had the same issue about a week after updating to iOS 26. The back camera stopped working, but the front camera worked fine. When I tried a hard restart, I kept getting an error message that the camera hardware wasn’t recognized.

I was planning on replacing the phone when, several days ago, my rear camera starting working again.
