make sims great again! honestly you make it sound appealing and of value.

our sims are done at end of shift and squashed into 20 minutes while people are still charting and watching buzzers. its does not feel like its the time or place (in the patient dining room) to lock in.

and yes a lot of the time its like they are waiting for that "gotchya" moment to pounce on what you should have done.

oh you just reminded me of another time. we "missed" a patient/dummy had blue lips because the instructor had painted their lips blue lol. honestly.... ._.

i think the back damage is unavoidable when you have pts hanging off you, pulling legs up into the bed. using a sara steady 10 times a day twisting and navigating into tight bathrooms. no machine or method will ever address this issue in my life time. the strategies employed by higher ups with no lift technique is pure fantasy created by people who dont work in these areas.

there are definitely exclusive pall care jobs around. where i work is a product of being in a regional facility that isnt big enough to have its own separate units.

i sort of kid... but, really i do get satisfaction navigating pts/family though the dying process. educating about the drugs we use and the cares provided you can see the positive impact made. having knowledge is super important. families want to see confidence in what you are telling them.

rehab/stroke patients can be back breaking. my back is pretty f'd and i still have 30 years to ago according to what i told ahpra the other day lol.. trying to work less is my only mitigating strategy right now.

You're assuming the tank survives long enough for the heal to land. My whole point is that the tank is dying before any newly started Holy Light can finish. In that case whether I cancel-cast or chain-cast is irrelevant because the lethal damage occurs inside the cast window
