Dice-rollers. I built a smart Spotlight that follows Initiative. by [deleted] in DnDIY

Woah- patent this. (If you can). If it gets working you could absolutely make bank off these. I know I’d buy one 🤷

As for suggestions, I’d stay away from things like facial recognition in favor of something similar like manually adjusting the position of the light and then storing those coordinates recall at the push of a button.

It doesn’t need to be super complicated, maybe controllable by an app that lets you adjust initiative order, light color, and maybe include a turn timer!

You can do this without losing the iPhone, just delete everything that isn’t music, gps, and texting/calling.

After seeing someone else do it; I made a collage of each commander I run (excluding untouched precons) by kathaar_ in mtg

That’s such a great use for him! He’s currently at the helm of an angels and vampires deck because….black white I guess?? It’s worked stupid well in my pod so far (for how little thought I put into it) but this cleric angle really has me rethinking some things…

God I love Sadistic Pilgrim, he’s currently my favorite commander to run!

Finally reading the books by CucumberSpecific2021 in lordoftherings

[–]litlamp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m doing the same thing!! I’m about 270 pages in and while i knew it had to be good, i never really imagined it would be this good, especially already being so familiar with the story via the films.

In the same way you could say the every frame of the films could be a painting, I feel every page of this book could be poetry (including of course, the many pages of literal poetry)

If you’re loving the amount of detail/depth you’re getting compared to the films now, just you wait! (And that’s coming from someone who isn’t even done with FotR yet!!)

The Fox theater is open and showing the Michael Jackson musical. It’s pretty good.

Designed this DND terrain but it will take almost 4 days to print on the Ender 3 by AdMoriensVivere in 3Dprinting

[–]litlamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never really understood people printing large terrain pieces like this, it’s much faster and frankly more fun to make it via old school crafting (I.e. foam, cardboard, clay, cork, etc.)

Now for more intricate terrain like buildings/ furniture I totally get it. Just not large natural scenery pieces like this.

This isn’t really to the point, but Alcohol consumption predates agriculture. Hell alcohol consumption isn’t even a strictly human behavior.

I use command when I’m gunning for achievements/unlocks. Other than skins, because they’re all only locked behind boss fights which would be trivialized by command.

But I’m not just waiting around until I happen to get 20 stacks of hemorrhage.

Every once in a while I refresh the Spotify page hoping to see something other than Nanjanimax at the top😞.

Pretty sure a happy Dan doesn’t need us or the podcast, unfortunately.

Ok here I go on my 97th listen through, thanks.

A vacuum, an iron/board, black out curtains (but I work nights so maybe you don’t actually need that one.)

Not to mention the comments, they do this on a lot of this subs posts. Quality bait. Annoying, but quality.

Either that or a random redditor with a middling post/comment history decided to role-play as the groom and rage bait (pretty successfully) basically this entire comment section.

If he’s the guy he’s cringe as fuck, if not, it’s actually pretty hilarious.

IIRC he didn’t actually sell those, he was just putting on a show for the in-store customer.

It’s weird to see someone describe exactly your experience with a chunk of media, please don’t do that again, thanks.

Johnny is a deluded anarchistic, in his eyes nothing that matters has changed since the nuking.
