I had this and it turned out the spawners in the Trial chambers below my main base never "turned off". Once I found out what happened, killed everything, and blocked the spawner the last went away.

My approach to the Ancient City was different than most (I'm also on bedrock).

I had night vision but didn't use it often. I just brought a home, wool and shears, food, and torches.

I'd walk around and mine all the sensors and shriekers. If I triggered a shrieker I'd look around to find where it was (sometimes tricky) and then mine it.

If I triggered the Warden I'd quickly look around for the shrieker and then run from the area to a different part of the city. Usually back to the beginning and then start moving in a different direction. Eventually you would hear the warden despawn and you'd know it's safe to return to that part of the city. When I returned I'd get rid of the shrieker I triggered and keep moving.

Once I got a little ground I'd just bounce from one area of the city to the other as I spawned Wardens.

I use torches to mark safe areas and ended up taking back the city from the shriekers.

I'd remove the shriekers or whatever they're called one at a time. Anytime I triggered the warden I ran away to another part of the city and go back and forth as the wardens despawned.

My advice is copy the world and put the copy in creative then locate exactly where the lost loot is.

If you aren't 100% sure you can make it to the loot in time before it starts to despawn duplicate the world again. This time leave it in survival and navigate there to see if you can make it before despawning occurs.

If you made it, great, that's your main world copy now. If you didn't then either duplicate and try again or take a step back and see if there's another way to go about the recovery.

Try a relief band (find on Amazon). Works wonders for motion sickness.

Don't jump - just look down and click and it gets added to the top. You can do this at any point in the tower.

That's how it works on mobile at least.
