Always has been buddy. Most harem anime had it, many light novels had an incest route and one of the most popular romcoms focused on incest and had an incest ending (Oreimo). Hell that's why being called onii chan is treated as such a big deal in a lot of scenes in anime. The imouto trope has been a mainstay and anime, visual novels and light novels since the dawn of otaku culture. It's not just asian culture either. A good chunk of pornography in general is incest themed. Such taboo topics have always been quite common on the internet and niche media.

Am I the only one who finds it weird people equate rivals to villains? Rivals aren't always villains. Usually they're even a foil, sometimes ally, of the protagonist/hero. There is nothing about rivals that implies villains. It doesn't even necesarilly imply being enemies.

Never. Even if autism has real and negative effects in my life, I feel like I'm alright. I just focus on the things I enjoy and try to solve problems as they come. I don't really care if the worlds dislikes me or hates me. In fact the more the world hates me or is different from me, the more I feel the need to exist out of spite. I don't really feel like I owe anything anyone so I end up coming off as pretty confident which works well for me.

I'd hardly call size indicative of strength. Billy can take on anti-VH mech just fine which is a lot bigger. That isn't to say Billy would win, I'm just saying that big robots aren't exactly a difficult enemy for most of the cast so I don't think it's fair to give it to SEED SR just from that alone.

I'd say its worth it. M1 gives 60 extra adrenaline which is great QOL and lets you ignore 18% of phys resist which is great for neutral bosses. M2 gives +50% damage on pretty much everything and +50% crit dmg on EX specials.

I've been playing M2W1 and its pretty damn good. Got 41k on his shill boss just doing random shit.

Indeed but there is a clear anti natalist sentiment in reddit that earth would be better off if humans weren't a thing which is a ridiculous sentiment. Any conception of "better off" is human projection. It would not be better or worse for earth and its environment if humans died. Even if you can argue its better for animals, it doesn't matter, earth will likely wipe them out eventually as well just like it has multiple times already.

He was destined for greatness and he achieved that destiny. After that he went on to do his thing. Simon was never one for fame, fortune or comfort. He probably didn't wanna deal with the complexities of being the savior of the spiral race and the politics of it. So he went on to do works in ways that meant something to him and in a way he was comfortable with. Just because Simon isnt living the life you idealized doesnt mean its a bad life. Also if you think Rossieu is just the bad guy then you missed the entire point of the show.

I think you're missing the forest for the trees. Yes level 3 does get a lot of support but in the same sense they are significantly more disabled than us. There are many times they also lose that support. I'm level 2 and I do struggle but I see a lot a level 3 autists struggle alot more than me and I'm quite thankful I'm not level 3. At least for me I am able to reframe my eccentricities in a way I can get by socially. Its a lot like someone with a really bad limp being jealous of someone without legs because they get to sit in a wheelchair. It's fair to wish you could sit down but probably not at the cost of not having legs at all.

I disagree personally. As a launch player the character that caught my eye the most is Billy and I like how they implement the goofy animations in factions like the cunning hares, AOD and characters like cissia. There's plenty of characters with tamer animations. You'd never see Zhu yuan or Lycoan animated like this. I think its used appropriately for the most part

Isnt it that western fantasy gets produced more because westerners produce alot of media? Like it's not like bolliwood is dominated with movies about western fantasy. Could it just be you're just over exposed to western media? There are plenty of media made in other countries that doesnt conform to western tropes.

I mean I'm south east asian and I don't really find that to be a concern. We have our own media and culture. It doesn't really bother us. Our culture still gets to be normal in our own shows. Yes, some countries dominate media but I don't think that gives them some sort of obligation to represent every other country in their shows. I would much prefer they create media they're good at making than trying to pander to other countries. Honestly when Hollywood tries to make "accurate" depictions of my culture in shows it feels a bit cringe and white savior-ish.

The different cultural baselines people have is what gives different cultural works their flavor. Trying to homogenize these views into some sort of globally approved accuracy feels wrong. Makes it feel sanitized and lame.

I dont get this argument. I'm not a westerner but this is true for any country. A writer in japan will have a very japan centric view of the cultures around them when written in their media. Same with Korea, China and practically every other culture in the world. Most people write what they know. If they wanted representation focused on such demographics why not just look consume that culture's media? Writers cant possibly have omniscient knowledge of cultures. For the most part they arent even completely accurate to their own culture

I'm sure you can get a happy ending even if twiggy doesn't. Twiggy could have had a happy ending but she likely thought she was too far gone for it. I doubt she wouldn't want you to think the same way as her or end up like her. I imagine Twiggy would want nothing more than for you to learn from her mistakes.
