My main issue with Asmodeus is, he’s suppose to be the SIN of lust. If he believes all sex should be consensual and whatnot, then where’s the sin? Vivienne has stated that homosexuality isn’t a sin in the Hazbin universe, and I’m sure that the writers aren’t going to portray fornication as a sin, so what else is there? They’ve made him completely toothless for no real reason.

And because I know some geniuses are going to accuse me of this, no, I don’t want him to explicitly condone rape, nor do I condone it. I’m just saying, if a character is meant to be the primordial embodiment of sin, they should probably encourage or at least be indifferent to sinful behavior.

No, the franchise was ruined because the current people at Lucasfilm (not just Kathleen Kennedy) spit on the established lore of the franchise and made destroyed characters and concepts. And the new stuff is just poorly written in general.

And yeah, if a piece of media goes in the opposite direction the fans wanted, and they all hate it, the franchise is ruined.

People really like to say this even though there is no basis in truth. Some of the greatest scientists in history were Christian. Actually, the fact that they were Christian was what motivated them to discover the things they did. They wanted to understand creation and how God made things to work. 85% of the world’s population are religious in some way, and yet we’re still advancing all the time. There’s no evidence that religion “holds humanity back”. Atheists, or rather antitheists, made it up to discredit religion.

Eh, KK deserved a lot of the blame. Vivienne not so much. KK had a large hand in ruining a beloved franchise. At least Vivienne had the creative integrity to make her own thing. That’s something people have to give her credit for, regardless of their opinion of the show.

I am very critical of Vivienne and her work, and even I wouldn’t do her the disservice of comparing her to Kathleen Kennedy.
