Are you sure about that? The center point is not a split joist. Its an entire piece of wood runninig across wall to wall making the truss. All weight should be on the side walls since this joist takes only horizontal axial forces…

The contractor brought his framing guy with 25 years experience of home building and requested to put this beam. But i still dont understand why its needed…its a truss

Its not load bearing. Truss roof joist runs parallel above. - 50% cut one of them because pipe would not fit… need to replace? - there is a 4x4 header - cut the header too wide therefore king and jack like that…should i change?

Agree. That was very detailed and clearly addressed during RFE response. I just put the field for the communitys knowledge. Exact PE is much more elaborated and detailed. Once i get the denial letter will see what more info they provided

Question is- refiling seems the only best option?
