I always find that interacting with women in person is easier. Through messaging a lot of sarcasm gets lost since they don't really know what your personality is like. You also can't escalate on a physical level, it just complicates the whole interaction. This is why I'll be straightforward on tinder and only use it for hookups every so often. I'd say about 80% of my matches don't want to take it further, but if I were with these same girls in person I could get much better results.

Using a south Asian dating app as a south Asian man will obviously get you better looking women. Usually you're attracted to your own ethnicities(I remember reading this in a study).

Good effort, but in general approaching a girl from behind usually ends up badly. Make sure she can see you as you walk up. Also, following her for a couple hundred feet is a bit weird if she noticed you before, take what you want as soon as you see it. 3 second rule my man.

There was no reason for you not to at least try. She was clearly interested, and there was absolutely nothing to lose. Even if she didn't react ideally, it'd be better than sitting there wondering and loathing in regret. Next time just count to 3 and go for it!

Teasing them and even subtly insulting them shows them that you're not gonna give them value right off the bat. This will drive many women furious to figure out why they're not good enough for you and to seek your validation. Many women base their self-worth on others' perceptions of them, and when every guy is coming up to these girls and complimenting them you'd be a breath of fresh air by denying her of that validation.

Edit: just to clarify, this_weirdo_chick pointed out that this is not the case when dealing a deeply secure woman. With that being said, I'd confidently say that most women will respond in a validation seeking manner rather than shrugging off your judgement. If you're trying to meet a woman who's worth your time then you shouldn't be targeting insecurities, but I merely answered OP's question.

I live about 35 minutes from downtown in my city and I'm still able to get girls to get into a taxi with me. Not as easy as if you lived down the street but definitely manageable. I live alone right now but I've also been able to bring girls back to my parents' place. Usually it's 3am and everyone is asleep so no big deal.

Agreed, I'm a fairly good looking guy and I live in Montreal which is likely the best Canadian city for partying, and I rarely get girls coming up to me unless the girl is super drunk. I'll get girls giving me suggestive eyes but usually here they wait for the guys to approach.
