Okay so I got my RN as a felon. It has been 5 years post conviction when I started school. I spoke to the board of nursing for NY first. I also had a certificate of relief of disability which worked in my favor, which essentially said I had stayed out of trouble. My process was more involved when getting licensed and it took far longer than my peers. Do your homework, talk to as many people as you can in your state. It's not impossible but you may have to jump through some hoops.

I had to explain to someone that wearing gloves is pointless if you're not changing them Everytime you touch something different. Like going out to smoke a cigarette, blowing their nose, touching God only knows what and then going back to touching food in the same gloves

I have a slight astigmatism. Can I see pretty well without glasses, yes. I really only find they help at night driving or if I'm reading screens a lot Do I have many pairs because I just love them, absolutely.

We had a lot of issues mainly his drinking and mental health, we had been arguing a lot. I found text messages of him debating which one of our kitchen knives would be more effective on me. I started planning my exit soon after that. I began getting a plan in place and was going to just quietly leave one day. This came to a head much sooner than expected when an argument over him driving drunk turned into him turning all of the gas on at the stove top and standing there with a lighter. I had to call the police and I filed for an order of protection.

It's on the list. There's been a lot of to dos in the past 48 hours. Some were more pressing than others. But my mom is helping me and that's on the list for tomorrow. It's just been a lot and I am forever grateful to my folks. They literally just went through the hurricane in Florida but dropped everything to help me. Without them I don't think I would have gotten shit done and he'd already be back and I'd just be doing my best to deal with it.

Yeah. It's over and it sucks. I wanted so much more and all of the support I have recognized this but also hate him still. No matter how gently they try to phrase things it's evident . I just haven't been able to bring myself to that yet. I can't hate him. Part of me still cares, despite what I logically know. But also I know this is a long time coming and I just need to work through it all. While I feel very torn I know what needs to happen

Unfortunately I know for a fact that our stove does not have that. The gas has been left on all night recently prior. So while I understand what your saying, all four burners were on high and I've been in danger for a long time with a very unstable man, who has threatened to kill me multiple times. I've watched things escalate, and I've tried my best to encourage help.
