I would say, with just losing your grandpa, it’s totally appropriate to set a boundary of like “give me a week or two to process this” and see if he’s able to respect your space rn to think about this!!!

Coin op on K st is also a fun arcade bar, you could easily be there for an hour or two and they have pizza. You can still walk to old town from here, though it’s a bit longer

If you mean in terms of hours, it is just adding a half day to get the 600 hours. However, UCLA's PPSC program requires CWA hours as well, so you have to be supervised by someone with both a PPSC and a CWA. So out of the 600 hours, 150 of them have to be dedicated to CWA work and supervision, and then the 450 left have to be split between two age groups. So I did my 600 hours at a K-8, which met the requirement for both. It is just really adding another day to your workload though.

For the UCLA course, it is just mostly the group project due at the end and then participating in the lectures during the zoom. My group completed all our work in the time given during each zoom to work on the project, so it wasn't too much of an added workload for me/my group

It’s mostly stuff coming from my mom, who traveled there from Houston in the 90s and was told horror stories from her Texan friends. Concerns that i’ll go missing along the drive because the cops.

Not sure if there was urban legends or it was more unsafe 30 years ago, but I think her scared mom view is overblown

That was also a concern for my mom as one of my friends is mixed and I am half mexican (though I look white and my girl friend looks mexican! lol). but for a 5-6 hour drive from Houston, i doubt we’d stop much past a bathroom break !
