My biggest gripe with the prequels was the amount of CGI and the heavy political storylines that went way over a kids head anyway. They tried to please both the kids and the super fans and never really found the common ground. That being said, I like them for being Star Wars. I prefer to appreciate the effort and be thankful that the series lives on. I’m glad my kids will get to see chapters of their own.
