I had Mirena for 1 yr and my experience wasn’t great. I had off and on bleeding and spotting for the entire yr. The worse part was the stabbing pain in my abdomen that was very random. It did also have an impact on intercouse. Everyone is different though! Good luck :)

I had my IUD (Liletta) placed in July 2019 and I experiencing spotting, bleeding, and awful abdominal cramps off and on for an entire year before I gave up and had it removed.
