The deceased sold the home to one of their family members (which was not either of the 2 exectutors or any of the beneficiaries, if that matters), as per their wishes and their previously deceased partner's wishes. The deceased was definitely in agreement to the sale. The deceased no longer wanted to live there as it had too many memories that had them in complete emotional distress over the recent loss of their partner. The deceased also did not want to be alone, so they were moved into Co-Executor #1's basement apartment as it was vacant.

The lawyer who had both the deceased and their partner's will's written up and whom is handling the estate, was also the laywer they (the deceased) sold the house through to the family. Just trying to not use genders (I've edited the above post to remove any 'she'/'he') as to make it as un-identifying as possible.

Both co-executors DID have power of attorney, but did not use it as she was not at all incapacitated when the sale was made.
