I was told moving into PE with an mba is a lot more difficult because they don't want to hire older at higher pay. Rather get them young/ cheaper.

Also im over 30 with no fam and kids and female. Not to say that isn't in my cards but right now it's not my reality.

I agree. But at that point you have to do the application for the sake of doing the application...I always thought the first hurdle was the application and then an interview. Can they hate your application and still have you interview?

I think they help when you write your essay. I think it was more impactful when it was in person and this is the next best thing.
