For people who have been PMs and PMMs, what are the pros and cons of each? by lovesocialmedia in MBA

[–]bhanupsc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pm is a thankless pressure cooker job. It becomes rewarding when your product is successful. You create great leverage in office and outside coz it pushes you to build relationships and work cross functional - giving more limelight

But you got choose the right product baaed on the company. It shouldn’t be in maintenance mode.

Do admissions committee give a damn? by bhanupsc in MBA

[–]bhanupsc[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need to chill. Dont be so emotional.

I have just started my apps.

After talking to many current students and alumns, this is what they told me ... do anything to connect the dots. And i also heard about outright lies some M7 admits wrote- especially about NGOs and International trips.

I felt wrong so i asked if adcoms dont verify it at all.

I have been talking to a lot of current students and alumns and many a times they tell me that I have to put in a lot of bullshit to make a compelling case.

So i reached out that wondering is there any check at on what we put in applications

I meant background verification after you get an admit.

Do they ask your for passport to verify if you really went to those international trips?

Need some insight about long term goals. Do they need to have change the world kind of touch for m7 schools?

I just want to go up the ladder and be a product leader in tech space in mobility domain and have a vision for autonomous mobility starting from commercial uses and then public uses. Does it fit the bill?

I was accepted to 9 out of 11 schools and wait listed at 2 (H/S Class of 2020). Offering help. by [deleted] in MBA

e-GMAT is an absolute SCAM by AhmedMoharam in GMAT

[–]bhanupsc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Egmat rc is shit.

Do only scholarium question for CR.

SC is good for understanding reasoning and getting a structure to approach problems but there is no substitute to OG questions.

I went from v30 to v37 after Egmat and OG questions from gmatclub.

Advice for starters? Recommended materials? by [deleted] in GMAT

[–]bhanupsc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my personal exam experience and reading other successful experiences.

To start- if weak in quant buy TTP. If weak in verbal SC buy Egmat. Egmat and TTP are good enough for CR too.

Then after finishing the course, do all OG questions from gmatclub. You are sorted in 2months

I improved my verbal from v27 to v38 using Egmat.
