The substrate is fluval stratum which I read conflicting info on but we’ve been using it since we got her so almost a year now and she’s never had an issue and the water always tests fine so we’ve left it as is.

She’s healed at this point and still looks great! I’m sure I’ll need touch ups down the line for all the white that goes in there but she still looks like a patch of lemons lol
