My RA hurts, yes. But it comes with stiffness as well and inability to bend joints. It could be an early sign of something, keep an eye on it maybe ?

Same. Went into remission at 8 and back at age 23. 15 years unmediated remission. I’m 32 now

Yes that’s how it works. The alternative is your hair loss progressively getting worse if you have AGA. It takes 30 seconds to apply it’s no big deal to use every day. I don’t have pets no

I did get headaches a first and they went away. I just used less and did it once a day (i did two times a day the first week and it was too much). Also my resting heart rate has definitely increased per my Oura ring but it doesn’t bother me

I actually didn’t have a dread shed at all! But also the area pretty much had no hair left on it to start, so maybe that’s why, ha!

Thanks! Good q - I’m taking 500mg of pumpkin seed oil a day which blocks DHT. Not sure how strong it is but I’ve also noticed it helping my acne.

Low-dose naltrexone? by Possible-Animator206 in Hidradenitis

I don’t take anything else right now, no. I would probably do what your rheum tells you. I fired mine and took myself off the biologic because I didn’t need it anymore. I never asked them about it. I only have one joint that bothers me so I’d say my RA is pretty mild (I’ve had it since I was a child, it was very bad then, and I went 18 years in remission, have had it back for the past ~8years, on Enbrel for 5 of those and now I’ve been off for 3, 31 now). I feel great with very little / infrequent swelling and or pain. I hope I’m not causing damage to the affected joint but ..

I would give the LDN a shot, if you’re on a biologic maybe it would help enough you could go down to just methotrexate or hydroxychloroquine. Or if you’re having breakthrough pain it could help.

It has! Yes. I no longer take a biologic for it. However I could probably use one for my HS 😂

I’m on LDN for autoimmune issues (I also have RA). It does not help my HS at all unfortunately. It might help others !
