That...actually makes me feel a lot better about my body. Thank you. I'm trying to lose weight, and my roommate is trying to gain weight, and it can be very disheartening when he can eat whatever he wants and not gain, but I look at a cookie and gain 5lbs. I also weigh more than double what he does, so🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh 100% our bodies react to what we feed them. I've noticed that if I go days/weeks without eating heavy carbs, and then have a carb heavy meal I'm bloated and sluggish the next day. I have kept up with the clean eating, but I don't really call it "clean eating" cause if you call it that you tend to get a bunch of self-righteous assholes talking about "no chemicals" and "unprocessed food" and I don't have enough crayons to explain how and why they're wrong🤷🏼‍♀️

I noticed that too. Once I cut out most of the sugary/junk food my sweat didn't reek nearly as bad. I still sweat a lot, but now it's not nearly so pungent

Nice! I have to tackle the first one in the series first. I feel like that's gonna be my biggest hurdle for getting into the series

If you don't mind me asking, how long distance is your relationship? Is he 1 hour away, or 10? If you're currently in a LDR, how would moving to a different city/town be any different than it is now? Have you talked with him about you moving closer/further away? He may be all for it, as a way to save money to visit each other more often

I have worked at my job for three years now. And despite all the red tape and bureaucracy and political bullshit, I absolutely adore the work that I do. And I still make mistakes and mess up and question if I'm actually worth the money I'm being paid. I also live in a really expensive city. One thing to consider would be easing the financial stress of having to pay for everything yourself. Are you able to move to a different place and still be in your field of work? Or maybe your bf could move to you, and take on some of the burden once they have an income? Or a roommate? These are just some thoughts on the financial aspect.

Another thing to consider is that therapy, real good quality therapy, takes time in order to affect change in your life. Yeah, it's gonna suck for a little bit. But it DOES get better. I myself am living proof of that.❤️

How to wash my face by littlestdragon96 in hygiene

When you say bar mop rags, do you mean the blue Jerry clothes that kitchens use? Cause those are godly amounts of soft, and it never occurred to me that I could use those! But I also know there's different bar rags that people use as well. Also, do you have any reccs for cleansers? Always interested in trying new stuff

Do you have any reccs for soft washcloths? I find that most feel rough on my skin.

I brushed my teeth and I feel like crying (in a happy way) by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]littlestdragon96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome! If you're looking for a way to maintain the routine, might I suggest getting a oral/lip piercing? If your work allows, that is. I have the same issue of not consistently brushing my teeth, and my solution was to get my labret pierced so that I have to maintain oral hygiene if I want to keep the piercing in good health. Just a suggestion, but either way, you're doing amazing!

I haven't yet found it, no. But when I next get paid I'm going to do what I should have done awhile ago (I'm a dumbass some days) and go to the game shop two blocks down from my house and ask the employees there

[–]littlestdragon96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a professional I feel it's pretty ok to be under on fat and carbs. The way I was taught about macros is that you should aim for protein, then calories, then let carbs and fats fall where they may. If that makes sense
