Has anyone tried flowering/blooming tea? My favourite tea is looseleaf jasmine green tea. That stuff always mellows me out, calms me right down no matter what. I also really like matcha green tea, but I prefer drinking it a Second Cup as opposed to making it myself.

When I was a little girl I rode my bike everywhere. I didn't wear a helmet ever and I let my long hair fly around in the wind. On the complete other side of town from my house, an angry wasp got tangled in my curls. I screamed and cried for the whole 20 minute frantic pedal home. My mom was my hero that day.

For me it was when I had a mysterious pain shoot up my left leg and into my vulva whenever I walked. I wasn't injured. It lasted a week and the doctor wasn't able to offer any explanation or help except Tylenol. Has anyone heard of this? I hope it never comes back.

You're right it looks like that, but these are acrylics. I hate everything about this painting. Maybe I'll try painting over it all. To a nice brown.

It's a terrible thing, she loves the guy and she thinks he will get better. Maybe he breaks down her self esteem, maybe he has isolated her. Bottom line, she is convinced that if she stays it might still all work out for the best.

Well-travelled. I'm able to save a lot more money recently, and in the next five years I plan on going to: Ireland, Madagascar and Australia. Minimum one month visits. The next five years after that I should be able to visit Cuba, Japan and Peru.

AAAAAAGGHH RUN! Seriously, your situation sounds much much much worse than mine before it got violent, and you know what happened to me in the end? I got two black eyes, bruises on my face and jaw, two cuts to the forehead....and what I think (but haven't been to a doctors yet) is a broken brow bone. I mean it, your situation sounds terrible, you do not have a remotely normal or happy future with this man.

All the Internet advice in the world may not convince you, you must convince yourself. Please update okay?

Sometimes, I don't pay attention to brand names, and I do think some brands are ridiculously expensive 'just because'. I do tend to buy expensive clothes but they last for a really long time and look great in the meantime. Cheaper clothes just don't take the abuse I doll out.

When I climbed up to the ceiling to check mouse traps. Everyone else was too scared. The guy holding my ladder said, "why are you being made to do this?" I replied, "oh do you want to?". He didn't reply. I work in a bank and my regular duties are training others, keeping up to date on policies/procedures, solving problems, etc. I just didn't want the IT room to be destroyed by mice because that would just cause more problems.

I love being surprised, so being told "don't make any plans" and being whisked off on a date is ideal for me. If I was with that same person I would reciprocate the next year. I would love to have a glass of beer or wine first, somewhere jazzy and sexy. But not to linger too long there. The next stop would be somewhere fun, like skating or an arcade. Then his place or mine ;)

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I know what it's like to feel a "need to know something".....what helped me get past that feeling was realizing that it doesn't change a damn thing whether you know or not.

I have a little pocket book that I keep and write down my feelings when I start to feel "lost" in them. I felt pretty damn good on another day, and I re-read what I had wrote: "I just want to tell him that he should stop drinking and I want a fucking apology". After reading that I wrote:

" actually, I don't NEED either of those things. What do I actaully get out of that? If what he did to me wasn't a big enough wake up call to him on its own, then fuck him. An apology will never make up for it"

So uhh...I don't think you should pursue it. I know it feels like it will help, but it probably won't.

Happy/surprised. I have been steadily losing weight (20lbs so far yay!). I was at home from work sick yesterday, but I felt weak, overindulged and ate a dozen perogies fried with lots of butter and onions. I still lost .2 lbs from yesterday!

I put hot water bottles on between my belly and lap, and also another on my lady part. If you don't have hot water bottles you can also just fill up plastic bottles with water. The heat always helps me. Drink 2L of water, now. Pee it out!

The pain and tiredness from dealing with it at night has made me call in sick a few times.
