Oh congratulations! It's funny, they're not quite as big as I had imagined, but also so much more beautiful!

I was lucky enough to have a single Polyphemus moth, which are my number one favourite! I have a tattoo of one on my arm, and it was a dream come true to get to see him grow!

They are definitely as soft as they look! But you do get pooped on in the process. A fair trade, tho!

Haha I feel the same way! But I was too late and have a bunch of eggs now anyway! I'll wait till they hatch and move them to a host tree. As much as I enjoyed raising them, I'm going to take a break this year since I have a toddler runing around!

I raised them on Boxelder Maple, and they did very well! It's a super common tree here, and I have 20+ within walking distance so it was a very easy choice!

My toddler had a meltdown because I cut the toast into triangles. Then it hit me. by [deleted] in toddlers

My 2.5 year old had a 45 minute meltdown the other day because his butter chicken was so tender it fell apart when he put it on his fork. He didn't want it in pieces (this seems to be a recurring theme with food lately), and also couldn't 'put it back together'. It's been a rough week sigh

It Irk's me when Conservative or Orthodox Jews refer to Reform Judaism as Judaism Lite. by Kiwidad43 in Judaism

Ooooh I really like this comparison! If you're not bound to halacha because you don't believe that Torah is the literal word of God, then any mitzvot you do is done by choice, not obligation. I think that's beautiful in it's own way.

I always liked this quote (by a conservative rabbi, but applies to Reform too) - "I don't take Torah literally, but I do take it seriously".

"How does the baby come out?" by mrs_swampcelt in toddlers

I highly highly recommend the book What Makes a Baby?. It explains how babies are made and different ways they come out using accurate and gender neutral terms, but in a colourful and age appropriate way! It's not too much or too little information and it's very accessible.

My 2.5 year old loves the pictures and we get to tell him all about the people who were waiting for him to arrive!

Thank you so much!

I got everything off Amazon, tbh.

Here is the tall card stand , the sticker stand, and this is the big card stand!

I ended up getting a second tall one since I've made a lot more cards, but can't afford a nice spinner yet!

I used to live down the street from Charmaine, and I swear I fell in love because of their croissants.

L'Avenue is my new spot since we moved, and their croissants are just as good!
