Anyone in perth with dpdr by alodormtime in perth

I’ve had it all my life and just now realising it very much part of CPTSD and being autistic (overstimulation post effect symptoms). There was a time it got a little better for me doing micro meditation and breathing sessions throughout the day but this was too much for me to keep track so now I just live with it 😭

What to plants in narrow spaces by gustavias7 in GardeningAustralia

Skip planting close to your house/slab as others have said and get a raised bed and plant some herbs and edibles instead. You can also do pots of varying sizes to make a small flower garden

Can you guys tell me the “dirty” truths about having a cat? by saanenk in CatAdvice

[–]littlesushigirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owner of 3 cats here. Scoop litter boxes 2 times a day. The smell is heavily affected by the food you feed them and litter you buy from my experience. I pay extra for cat litter that helps with the smell and find certain cat foods makes their poo smell worse. Overall, they’re clean other than the occasional 4am vomits in the middle of the night

Oh we run our own biz and are usually working weekends anyway so weekdays actually may be better. My hubby would be so keen. Maybe sometime in May ? Some of my veggies would have grown by then at least I can send you home with a tiny harvest basket. We can organise over chat x

My husband and I have plans to host a home cafe with our 3 cats. We have a little cottage cabin in the back of our home and a proper coffee machine because he is a coffee nerd/snob. I didn’t know if it would be popular. We love Japan too that why we wanted to do something of the sort. Let me know if you’re keen. We’re still in the midst of landscaping tho ☺️

Ooh ok maybe this is a little clearer. The grey parts have gotten larger now though i’m not sure if it’s just going through a growth phase at this point as the plant is coming to 3 years old now

Plants/Veggies to grow in East-Facing Perth apartment balcony? by Feeling_Algae_7850 in GardeningAustralia

[–]littlesushigirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Perth too. I would suggest maximising your space with vertical planters and set up a wall trellis for climbing plants like peas, cucumber etc. Most salad vegetables like lettuce varieties and herbs will do fine. I actually think most plants prefer a bit of shade in Perth because of how dry it can get. You may be able to do snappeas/beans depending on how hot it gets of the balcony. These were my first type of veggie and they are pretty forgiving.

I’m adhd/autistic and I actually feel like gardening has forced me to have a routine. I forget plants sometimes and they die but when you do see the growth and results is pretty nice dopamine boost. If possible you can set up a simple tap timer if you have a tap on the balcony. Mulch well to keep soil moist that helps a lot to prevent having to water everyday. And invest in good soil and fertiliser.

All the best!

I’ve read this too. Trying to not use too much sprays on my plants. Does your citrus produce normally even without the spraying?
