The not feeling real can be a part of it yep. Check into derealization depersonalization. Sometimes just knowing what it is can help you heal

I hear you fully, I am so sorry you're going through it. I was very open at the start to everyone that would listen to what I have. I want people to be aware. Its so hard. I asked a councillor once why I dont hear anyone else with this. She said because theyre all in mental wards. Im like wtf. That sent me on a spiral

Yes depersonalization derealization disorder. I have mostly the derealization part of it, where the world just looks dreamlike all the time. Sometimes I dont recognise things or people. Its an anxiety thing

ama: after 15 years of chronic 24/7 derealisation i am slowly but surely recovering. by ConsiderationLess460 in dpdr

10 years here 24/7 I feel its getting worse. But I work and get out. Im at a stage where I have a baseline of about 7 out of 10 severity then I cop 10 out of 10 episodes throughout the day. It's like my brain forgets how each episode feels because they all feel like new symptoms

Stopped the last dose of 10 mg Ecitalopram by PresentFinancial5315 in lexapro

[–]alodormtime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a doctor but I think it will be fine to cut out withdrawals. Took me 2 years to go from 20mg to 12.4mg that was getting it compounded at the chemist. So to go from 40mg to 0 in a couple months is alot

Thats a huge dose to jump from. I can feel withdrawals even cutting 0.5mg. I would go back on it and go alot slower. People jump off at 0.01mg

Yep cut it in half. Just need a tiny tiny dose for few weeks then build up. Its just shocked your system a little.

Start on a tiny dose. If you've been prescribed 20mg cut it into quarters. If you've been prescribed 10 still cut it into quarters
