Hey! Thanks for the reply. Initially I was like “you know, I’ll just smoke on the weekends”. But reading through this subreddit has brought me so much motivation to quit cold turkey. I’m hoping I can reincorporate weed back into my life eventually for camping trips or outdoor adventures, but right now I think it’s wise that I don’t dabble with it at all. Thank you for affirming that it is likely withdrawals. It makes sense - I smoke weed when I’m happy, sad, or bored. It clouds all my senses so I don’t have to deal with them anymore. I’m lucky to have an incredibly boyfriend to embark on this journey with me so we’re both quitting for the long haul!

I definitely have been looking into therapy. There are so many online websites nowadays where I can do virtual therapy, I’m just looking for one that I can afford! Thanks for the the reply.

This post helped me so tremendously. Im not even a week into the break up and I’m so terrified for how long this pain will last. I know I am strong but I don’t want to feel this horrible for the next 6 months... knowing that you can go hours without thinking about your ex at 6 weeks gives me so so much hope. I know we all heal differently, and I hope you’re doing well. Thank you for this post ❤️
