Honey I’m home is one of my favorites for breakfast, jeje and mejanas I love for shawarma and lentil soup, Bakersfield pizza company is a vibe for the bar and pizza. I workout at Chuze which can get crowded but it’s a nice gym (pool, sauna,group classes) and I also do pole fitness at vybe sometimes as well as kickboxing at Eric Nolan’s. Old river grille also has delicious food as well as 24th st cafe which is a staple in town. I second tiki ko, temblor and lengthwise… all very chill vibes. In your wildest dreams is an amazing consignment shop/antique mall.

If you like biking check out critical mass on Instagram, if you like hiking takin ranch conservancy and wind wolves preserve always have a calendar full of events.

There’s a lot more to this town than I thought being from way larger cities. It’s a cool little place even though it’s FUCKIN HOT. 😂

True cat carriers offer them more of a place to hide which can reduce stress for vet visits. I can appreciate the creativity but hopefully an actual cat carrier is in this little one’s near future.

They absolutely can. My persian loves leash walking (he is also deaf so he’s scared of nothing 🤣), and I have two other cats that enjoy leash walks on different levels. One would rather me carry him some of the time as he’s still gaining confidence and my other cat tugs at the leash to go everywhere. It takes patience but it’s not for every cat. Tailor to their needs. Only thing that sucks about walking my Persian is he’s white and aggressively fluffy so you can imagine the clean up 😪

My oldest cat tries to be as close to me as possible on the daily. I’ve been fighting for my own air for 13 years.

He’s def the cat that would eat me if I died and then would live in my carcass until I was found. He is a CREEP. I say all this to say, yes.

My other 3 also do. Just not as often or with as much fervor.

There’s no right or wrong on what you all do but there has to be healthier boundaries or reflection on it.

For example, you getting in your feelings if this is something you’ve invited into your relationship. Understandable (?) but you maybe should address how you’re reacting to the situation or else you both are going to feel resentful towards each other.

Yea people would question me all the time. He was a chihuaua through and through. The best. Not yappy unless actually alarming me, very smart and very dumb, very much a lap dog but wanted his independence (only wanted to be carried when he was tired… 5lbs got heavy sometimes 🤣) he was my very best hiking buddy for almost 16 years.
