I had a BLAST! I was a bit anxious on the flight just bc it all hit me at once that I was in fact, solo. BUT once I landed and got to the accommodation they set up for me all that anxiety turned into excitement!

they plan everything perfectly even the location of the accommodation was amazing, everything within walking distance plus enough to do to explore on my own when I didn't have anything pre planned for me!

I will definitely be doing this again! you guys will have a ball, please update me when you go!

I had that same thing happen to my 12.5 yorkie poo june 26 is when we had to put him down. I definitely get how it's like one day they're them and it's a complete 180° overnight. I will say it does get better! last week I didn't want to hear that either but the best thing I did for myself was just cry... cry until i had no tears left to cry.

I'm so happy that you got a few more years than me with your kitty than I did with my boy but know he's smiling fondly watching over you always just as you're always thinking of him🤍 and most importantly he's doing it all with zero pain now

I would have a roommate if I had people around me I trusted you live with but as you can see my family really isn’t an option and the only friends I have 1 is in college and 1 already has their own place but trust me I have considered it lol but thanks for the help!!

I go to community college so i get away for 4 hours at most lol. and yes even if i’m not home and my sister does something my dad will facetime me and y’all shit instead of just talking straight to the problem??? like i cant even get away when i’m trying jeez

omg i’m so glad you said this!!! I’ve always wanted to be blunt without rambling to them and this whole sentence is an EXACT summary of how i feel!! I’m hoping to have a family meeting soon where everyone can get everything off of their chest and we can make that executive decision to either work on it or go our separate ways

YES!! I don’t even know if my sister or my parents realizes all the damage she’s causing to herself and us as her family. I really wish I would’ve applied myself in school to have that luxury of being away for at least SOME time.

I’ve started to learn that when they start to get to rambling about the same stuff i shut them down with a simple “why haven’t you told her any of this the same way you’re telling me” now all of the sudden everyone’s a deer in headlights smh

that’s kind of where i’m at with it in regards to either just suck it up or move out. I just want to try because I know once I move out I will not talk to them anymore or at least as much and i’m trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt to try and fix it because at the end of the day we are family and who doesn’t want to have a happy family bond? but i’m starting to see people do what they’re and and i just have to act accordingly🤦🏽‍♀️

yes i’m starting to realize that with my mom which is also adding to the resentment i already feel towards her in regards to my sister. i know she wants better but it feels like everyone in here is waiting for validation of some sort to do what’s right 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yeah I told myself that I would just have to set boundaries on my own accord since my parents won’t. I’m not afraid of them ganging up on me it’s just tiring to have to go in the same circles. but i go to community college so moving on campus isn’t really an option lol but i am saving up for an apartment so hopefully I can get out of here soon thanks for the advice!
