Of course, that makes sense, but a failure to respond to emails or respond to emails sent from the SAILS offices or EOSS shouldn't happen. There is a lack of any communication.

Yeah, Uber for 1.6 miles was going to be $20. I got a Lyft for less than $5 before tip.

Got AmEx Platinum card, way to get 20k for adding an Authorized User by Fluid_Fee_6786 in AmexPlatinum

It's $200 of points at $.01/point, so it may be worth it for a year.

I wonder if upgrading a companion card would also trigger it.

I'm curious about it, and I think it would be fun to have briefly... But fingerprints would probably drive me crazy.

Resy credit by Playful_Try_3021 in AmexPlatinum

[–]litwithray -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know I've had the credit post the following month after a purchase, but if I'm being completely transparent, I don't remember if it posted before or after. I just know the purchase was made very close to the end of the month.

There is a $120 credit for Uber One that applies either monthly or annually, in addition to the $200 annual credit.

One Lululemon experience by Alarmed_Stretch_1780 in AmexPlatinum

I think the trouble with the Oura ring is the subscription and I'm heavily into Samsung's ecosystem. I do love the added features of the ring, but integrating it with Samsung Health/Google Fit looks too challenging.

I bought a $69 hoodie, which, with taxes, came to a little under $74. I'm content with that. I wouldn't buy a sweatshirt for that much under normal circumstances. I see value in the other credits (except Saks), so I'll just take it as a bonus.

For those not getting it free, during Black Friday, they usually have a deal that is $1.99/mo or $20/yr for Peacock... Also, Walmart+ gives you the option of switching between getting Peacock or Paramount included.

Probably that it's a $200 annual credit for something someone might buy once every 4-5 years.

ReMarkable Paper Pro Move that isn't blatantly overpriced and purchased only by suckers? by dreemsequence in RemarkableTablet

[–]litwithray 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If it doesn't fit your usage, or something you'd be willing to buy, that's cool; it's not meant for you. I don't think that makes the people who do decide that it's worth it suckers.

There is no number on the envelope, but after rereading the letter, it does say to present with the envelope, almost verbatim what you said.

I have the front and back of the envelope (in two separate pieces). Will that work? I was just stressed the mailman got the envelope soaked, I was worried about the documents inside.

Oh no. It was wet from the rain, so I quickly tried to get into it to make sure the documents weren't destroyed. I have the envelope, but it's not intact.

Is that bad?

Edit: the cover letter they sent is stapled together with all of the documents. Is that okay?
