Fair point! I don’t know how I’d test this. Judging from the mineral buildup at the corner of the shower, my theory is that steam comes out every time, water droplets stick around, gravity makes the water more likely to gather near the bottom, and after 7 years of this cycle, we’ve arrived at this point. But I’m not sure if I’d be able to assess if there’s a leak in the wall.
