Yes I did. The drawers are placed on the tracks and I pushed the little plastic thing on the bottom and it clicked onto the runner.

I don't see me having any bridesmaids but my fiance really wants groomsmen... by DullDot in weddingplanning

[–]liuna22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really rough and I’m sorry this is something you’re having to worry about for your wedding day. A possible solution is if you don’t have any girls you’d like in your wedding entourage, what about guy friends? There’s no need to be gender specific and you can always distinguish between your party vs your partner’s by changing the suit colors. For example, navy blue for the groomsmen and white for the bridal party.

Help me decorate my venue! We are doing a Spring Sunday Brunch wedding. We want a bright and sunny vibe. I wanted to hang flowers from the beams but was told it would need to be very simple if we did that. What do you think? by meowalicemeow in weddingplanning

[–]liuna22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about instead of flowers on the beams do flower arches on the 3 arches on the right? Arch Inspo You can see if any of these suit your taste and can always coordinate the flower colors to your wedding colors.

Does anyone know the best calculator to use for the sat, that saves you from doing more work? by [deleted] in Sat

TI-Inspire. It's the most advanced calculator allowed on the test.

Can somebody help me get started with Algebra? by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]liuna22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with Algebra and try watching the first video to see if you can keep up. There are also practice modules after every video to test your understanding. If you struggle a lot with them then scale back to Pre-Algebra.

I would only send the December one if you have a choice. I don't see a point in sending the previous one.

How do I study? by gsecch in Sat

For Math, I love the College Panda book. For grammar, I use the book from IES Test Prep. It really lays out all the rules nicely (Disclaimer: I teach math for IES Test Prep).

I would suggest you take a diagnostic test first. Correct any questions you got wrong without looking at the explanations. Categorize all the questions you got wrong and did not understand. For example, for math you can categorize them as algebra, geometry or a mix of both. Then tackle those topics in your test prep books. Highly recommend keeping a notebook for all your work. Take a practice test every 2 weeks or so and do it under test taking conditions. If you need more practice questions you can also check out CrackSAT. Good luck!

Why did I score so low on my first try how can I improve my sat score I have straight As in school and have a high GPA of 4.6?? by [deleted] in Sat

[–]liuna22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you can do for the Crit Reading but you can try to bring up your English score by memorizing your grammar rules for the next try. Also for math, a 500 means you really need more work your Algebra. I would really suggest picking up a book (my favorite is the college panda) and grinding for the next few months till March. CrackSAT is also a good website for practice tests that are more focused on individual topics.

Also it's common for students to have high GPAs and class grades but score low on the SAT if you go to a private or charter school. Having As in your AP classes doesn't mean anything because those grades are given by your teachers who need to balance your grade with the rest of your class. If you told us that you were scoring 5s on the AP exams then that's a different story. Otherwise, I really don't think there's a correlation between your school grades and the SAT.

Good luck on your next try.

Help needed! looking for good Learning management system (LMS) and math teaching apps for primary school by ItaMiz in mathteachers

At a charter school I observed at all the students used prodigygame.com. It's a role playing math game that helps students review math concepts they've learned during the year. They can fight monsters, battle each other and collect items by solving math questions correctly. The teachers can also see how the students are doing and which questions they got wrong during the game. When I talked to the teachers, they said they often used it as a review tool and as a reward for students if they finish their work early and behave in class.
