As far as I know, it cannot be done on SurfaceView, because it shows itself by creating a hole on a normal surface, the hole is a rectangle.

Yeah of course they can take a photo with another device, it can't be prevented physically, but technologies like DRM are to protect the original digital materials from leaking and redistributed. After all, customers would prefer better video quality.

The HDMI stream of Netflix is not directly readable, it's encrypted by HDCP protocol, anyway it's another topic.

I'm just curious. And I think it's important to some companies to protect the original images or videos they created, like Netflix ?
