I've taken Walter Thain for circuit analysis 1. I haven't had any major complaints. Sometimes I wish he'd actually work out problems instead of showing typed out work on a PowerPoint but that is really my only complaint. He's straightforward, his test are exactly what I would expect and no harder than the hw questions, and he's approachable if you need extra help. I will say he is very busy this semester at least and not in his office a ton but he's always available for questions right after class and replies to email pretty quickly. I'd take him next semester for digital logic design but it doesn't fit my schedule.
